Educational services and socio-economic status of internally displaced persons in Maiduguri, Nigeria: Implications for sociology of education

INTRODUCTION: The fundamental obligations of Colleges Education is to breed fleet teachers that are employed in primary and Junior Secondary levels impart knowledge, moral societal values for better change stability, hence the need institutions have regular feedbacks from adjoining societies so as developmental policies planning ascertain development. PURPOSE: study’s purpose was survey students’ experiences shortly after completing their NCE examine impact academic training, social engagement inter-personal relationship while they were at College on present professional conduct. METHOD: A multi-faceted methodological approach engaged this study. This made room a wide range data collection. Robust discourse questionnaires interviews employed. RESULTS: results showed 35% graduates gone further studies, 58.2% still with 6.1% currently pursuing additional qualification. Most alumni fully teaching either Primary or school permanent pensionable appointments only few by Parent Teacher Association (PTA). It also revealed collection statement graduation very difficult graduates’ staff others pleasant. training received college found be impressive most graduates. CONCLUSION: study recommended there should quality teaching/learning environment lecturers make maximum would-be go through learning College.

این پژوهش با هدف "بررسی وضعیت موجود آموزش عالی مجازی در ایران و راههای توسعه و ارتقای آن " و با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی و پیمایشی صورت پذیرفته است. بررسی اسنادو مدارک موجود در زمینه آموزش مجازی نشان داد تعداد دانشجویان و مقاطع تحصیلی و رشته محل های دوره های الکترونیکی چندان مطلوب نبوده و از نظر کیفی نیز وضعیت شاخص خدمات آموزشی اساتید و وضعیت شبکه اینترنت در محیط آموزش مجازی نامطلوب است.
